Getting Underneath the Church
My vision for teaching is to get underneath the Church, to lay its foundations of faith - foundations that will prepare it for all that God is about to do. I'm also excited by how preaching Christ can bring healing and release to the downcast and afflicted.

Teaching Sessions
I can come to a venue of your choosing and deliver a course of teaching. This can be over as many sessions as you want. You can tailor the format to the needs of your people.

In terms of subject matter, here too, you can suggest a subject area, but my off-the-shelf subjects are these:

The Foundations of Faith: introducing people to the attributes of God, the Trinity, humanity and sin, the Person and work of Christ, the Holy Spirit, Salvation, the Church, the Last Things.

The New Testament Today: introducing Paul's letters, the Synoptic Gospels, the Catholic Epistles, the Johannine Corpus and Revelation. Each session will seek to facilitate a reflection on a contemporary issue such as identity, the environment, abuse.
How Saved are we? Celebrating the doctrines of salvation: election, calling, conversion, regeneration, justification, sanctification, perseverance, glorification, without any doctrinal bias: all views are presented.

Preaching
I love to preach. If you want a guest speaker for your event or just a change of voice for your congregation, feel free to get in touch via the contact form on this site. I can do everything from an interactive discussion of a text, to a formal scripted speech, and anything in between.
